We currently have a Flooding Reporting Technician position available for a motivated individual to join our team in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £24,487 per annum plus excellent benefits.
About the role
As the Flooding Reporting Technician you will provide support to the Sewer Flooding Manager, determine and report on sewerage asset and performance data, maintain the DG5 Register, presenting data for audit and assisting in ODI Performance Reporting

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensure correct information is added to the Flooding Register to comply with the requirements of Ofwat audit and producing information for the Annual Performance Review (APR) processes
  • Prepare data for the Annual Performance Review - APR
  • Review Guaranteed Standard of Service (GSS) claims, process payments, analyse work orders and create hotspots related to internal and external sewer flooding
  • Calculate and process top up payments for GSS from the monthly report from Service Compliance
  • Undertake and prepare monthly Audits/Reports
  • Preparation of storm analysis report – for hydraulic overload flooding events and action undertaken
  • Complete scanning of paperwork onto ellipse work orders
  • Reviewing the team mailbox and answering emails in a timely manner
  • Maintaining good relations and communications with other Functions
  • Respond to Ad-hoc data requests from Manager and other functions within the business
  • Support training of new members of the team on current job tasks
  • What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s at Grade C or above, including Mathematics, English and a Science subject (or equivalent)
  • Proven track record of working to deadlines
  • Previous experience working on own initiative and / or working as part of team
  • Proficient organisational skills, proactive, self motivated, and ability to work autonomously to prioritise own workload
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with an exceptional telephone manner
  • Ability to use various MS Office and Corporate computer packages
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and take on new challenges
