We currently have an opportunity for an Performance & Compliance Process Analyst to join our team based in Exeter. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.
The Performance & Compliance Process Analyst will play a key role in improving the quality, consistency, and efficiency of data and reporting within Wastewater Services. This role will support teams across the business to strengthen data governance, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
What you'll be doing:
Map and document processes for data and reporting outputs across wastewater services, including storm and emergency overflows, flow (FFT and DWF), treatment, pollutions, sewer flooding, UV, and blockages.
Ensure teams have the appropriate training, documentation, and tools to effectively follow and maintain processes.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of existing processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Gather requirements for new data submissions and reports, designing and implementing new processes to support these needs.
Maintain and update documentation within the MCERTS quality management system.
Coordinate data and reporting outputs such as Environmental Information Requests (EIRs), Annual Performance Reports (APR), and other regulatory returns.
What we are looking for:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Experience in process mapping, data governance, or business process improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
Understanding of wastewater operations, environmental data, or regulatory reporting (desirable).
Proficiency in data management tools and documentation systems.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
