We're recruiting for a Customer Support Assistant to join our laboratory team based out of our Exeter Laboratory in Countess Wear. This is a full-time position, providing key support to our lab team, offering a salary of £26,914 per annum, plus a range of company benefits.
The Customer Support Assistant provides administrative support to the Laboratory, acting as a liaison with its internal and external customers.
What you'll be doing:
Liaising with Laboratory customers (internal and external) to provide effective customer support.
Support the administration of procurement activities for the Laboratory using ELLIPSE.
Receipt and registration of samples received for regulatory and commercial purposes using LIMS Sample Manager.
Run reports to monitor samples received and act to resolve any deficiencies to ensure samples are analysed according to customer expectations.
Liaise with subcontractors, providing results and entry of returning sample data.
Display high standards of performance and quality control in keeping with regulatory standards and policies.
Assist with occasional local off-site collection or delivery of samples.
Other office-based general administration and occasional other duties which may include out of hours or weekend working).
What we're looking for:
5 GCSEs grade A-C including English and Maths, or Science (or equivalent qualifications).
Previous experience within an office administration role and customer facing role.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office packages and SharePoint.
