We’re looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of engineering capital projects across our water and wastewater assets.

You’ll work alongside experienced Project Managers, gaining exposure to end-to-end project delivery—from early design and planning through to construction and handover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their project management career within a complex and purpose-driven environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of capital engineering projects

• Assist in managing project scope, budgets, schedules, and risks

• Work closely with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders

• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring milestones are met

• Contribute to reporting, governance, and compliance activities

• Help ensure projects meet health, safety, and environmental standards

• Support continuous improvement and innovation within project delivery

What we're looking for:

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and eager to develop within project management:

• Experience in a project support, coordination, or junior project management role

• Background or interest in engineering, construction, utilities, or infrastructure

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• A collaborative mindset with good stakeholder engagement skills

• Working towards (or interested in) a project management qualification (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)
