About the Role

We're looking for a practical and technically minded Regulatory Monitor Maintenance Technician to join our team at South West Water. In this field-based role, you'll install, maintain and investigate flow and pressure telemetry equipment that supports the monitoring and operation of our water network.

What You'll Do

• Install and maintain flow and pressure telemetry equipment.

• Investigate faults and ensure monitoring equipment is operating accurately.

• Support project delivery and provide technical expertise.

• Carry out metering investigations and field studies.

• Work collaboratively with operational teams to solve technical challenges.

• Manage van stock and equipment to ensure operational readiness.

• Travel across Devon, Cornwall and Bournemouth, with occasional overnight stays.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent experience.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• Experience within water, utilities, gas, chemical or similar industries.

• Knowledge of telemetry, flow and pressure monitoring equipment.
