Working closely together, our Engineering and Energy teams play an integral role in building a better future for the South West. From scoping out new solutions to building brand new facilities, managing our contracts to laying new pipelines – every day brings something different. Keeping our 2200 sites up and running while embracing digitalization and sustainability is no mean feat.

Energy Commercial & Contracts Manager
“The most interesting part of my role is seeing the progression of renewable generation – from concept stage, through to modelling the business cases in Excel and presenting the information for project approval. Seeing solar panels on our sites and knowing I played a role in that is really satisfying. It’s great to know that the work of the Energy department makes a difference in the wider world.”

The constant moving landscape we have to operate in is challenging and interesting. I also mentor and manage young talent within the business through which is very rewarding.”
